Getting started

What do I need?

An iPhone, and an audio interface or mixer that connects to it over USB-C or Lightning (for example a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or a mixer with a USB output). Without one, SetStreamer uses the iPhone's own microphone.

How do I go live?

1. Plug your interface into your iPhone and open SetStreamer. It picks the USB input automatically.
2. In Settings → Destinations, switch on a platform and paste its stream key.
3. Point the camera at the decks and tap Go Live.

Where do I find my stream key?

Each platform shows it in its "go live" or "streaming software" settings. SetStreamer shows a short guide next to each platform. Treat stream keys like passwords: anyone with one can stream to your channel.

Plans

• Free: everything, in 5-minute sessions.
• Pro: no time limit, and up to three platforms at once straight from your phone.
• Pro Plus: SetStreamer Cloud. Your phone uploads once and our servers send it to every platform, including several accounts on each.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SetStreamer. You can also tap Manage subscription in the app under Settings → Plans. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.

I bought a plan but the app still says Free

In the app, open Settings → Plans and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.

SetStreamer Cloud (Pro Plus)

How do I set it up?

After buying Pro Plus, the app asks for your email and creates your setstreamer.com account. We email you a temporary password. Log in, choose your own password, then add your platforms on the dashboard. In the app, tap Set up the app now (or copy the server and key from the dashboard's "Connect your phone" box into Settings → Destinations → Custom RTMP).

I didn't get the email

Check your junk folder. If it's not there, use Forgot your password? to get a login link.

A platform light stays amber or red

Hover over (or tap) the light on your dashboard to see the reason. It's usually an old or mistyped stream key. Instagram and TikTok give you a new key every time you go live, so paste the new one in just before you start.

Your account

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings → Delete my SetStreamer account, or log in here and use the Account page. This removes your account, saved platform keys and SetStreamer stream key straight away. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that separately (see above).
